2021 FTE Fellows
April 23, 2021 — Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary is proud to announce Myron Krys Florence, Eddie L. Journey, and Gina A. S. Robinson have been selected to receive a 2021 Doctoral Fellowship from the Forum for Theological Exploration (FTE). All three were awarded the Fellowship for Doctoral Students of African Descent.
Voices of the Mentored
April 22, 2021 — The Forum for Theological Exploration (FTE) has just released its newest publication for the academy, Voices of the Mentored: Scholars of Color Speak. This publication was created in collaboration with and edited by Dr. Charles H. Cosgrove, who serves as the director of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary’s doctor of philosophy program and Professor of Early Christian Literature.

April 22, 2021 — Rev. Dr. Reginald Blount, associate professor of formation, leadership, and culture, will be one of seven writers featured on the d365 app and website the week of April 25, 2021. This special series will focus on "Justice: Love in Action."
Bishop William J. Barber II
April 13, 2021 — Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary will welcome pastor, professor, organizer, author, and sought-after speaker Bishop William J. Barber II for the seminary’s 163rd Commencement Service, being held online on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 10 a.m. (CDT). Bishop Barber will deliver the commencement address and be awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity.
50/50 Scholarship for Entering Students in Fall 2021
March 24, 2021 — New, full-time applicants to our masters degree programs will be eligible for a limited number of “50/50” scholarships – scholarships that cover 50% of tuition and 50% of the cost of a residence hall room. The scholarship will enable students to live in our on-campus residence halls with other Garrett students, to experience a global community, and to study alongside our world-class faculty.
