Another Idea (AI) about Artificial Intelligence (AI) Series

We invite the Garrett community to join us in a series of events: to deepen the digital literacy of participants through a clear explanation of various AI models, design, and uses; to wrestle with theological and ethical insights related to the development, adoption, and use of the specific AI example; and, to form a community of discerning students, faculty and staff through dialogue about the most pressing digital concerns today. Every event will have a resource to pre-read or pre-watch to allow for shared engagement. The events are meant to be mostly discussion-based after we hear from a guest or professor on the topic. For those on campus, a meal will be provided.

On November 17, we will be in conversation with Dr. Rolf Nolasco on the topic of “Smooth Surfaces, Hidden Costs: Formed Lives, Uneven Worlds.”
