Shades of Black: Doing Theology and Ethics in a World on Fire

James H. Cone and Emilie M. Townes Lectureship at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. The lectureship honors the scholarship, ministries, and lives of two of our most prominent alums and will be focused on Black Religious Thought and the Black Religious Experience. The inaugural lecture will be delivered by Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas.

The event will take place at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Unnamed Faithful (will be livestreamed)

Additional Details: There will be a lunch panel for Garrett students and alum that will include four Garrett students exploring the challenges that face black people across the globe and thinking together about the possibilities of our collective life and flourishing.
