Interested in learning more about Garrett’s Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in Strategic Leadership for Black Congregations? Join Rev. Dr. Reginald Blount, track coordinator for the DMin in Strategic Leadership for Black Congregations, on November 29th from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. (CST) for a virtual information session!

Rev. Dr. Reginald Blount is the Murray H. Leiffer Associate Professor of Formation, Leadership, and Culture and Director of the Center for the Church and the Black Experience at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. He also serves as the pastor at Arnett Chapel AME in Chicago. Blount has spoken nationally and internationally at numerous conferences and workshops helping faith communities envision new and creative ways to minister to, with, and on behalf of young people. Blount earned his Ph.D. from Garrett-Evangelical and Northwestern University’s joint program in religious and theological studies, focusing on the areas of Christian education and youth ministry. He received his M.Div. from Candler School of Theology.
