Rev. Sophia Hyon lives with two big cats and recently got engaged to a wonderful human. She has two master’s degrees from Garrett and is currently a doctoral candidate in Spirituality at San Francisco Theological Seminary (D.Min). She regularly writes a column for UM News titled “Movies and Sermons.” She enjoys serving as an associate pastor at the FUMC at the Chicago Temple since 2019.
