Discerning Your Call: Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary Open House
Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary will be hosting an Admissions Open House for those interested in pursuing theological education on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. The Open House will include opportunities to sit in on a class; hear from other students about their seminary experience; and take a tour of the seminary and Northwestern University campus.
“Campus visits are one of the best ways to get a feel for seminary life and find answers to he questions that aren’t easily answered by a quick search of the website,” said Rev. Becky Eberhart, Associate VP for Enrollment Management. “Our goal is to give prospective students a first-hand look at Garrett-Evangelical and give them as information as possible in a short period of time.”
The Open House will begin at 9 a.m. with a welcome from Rev. Eberhart and the admissions staff followed immediately by a tour of the campus. A time of reflection will conclude the day’s events at 2:45 p.m. Participants, however, are encouraged to stay for Community Meal at 5:00 p.m. followed by worship in the Chapel of the Unnamed Faithful.
