Intelligent.com, a trusted resource for online degree rankings and higher education planning, has just announced the Top 33 Master's in Christian Counseling Degree Programs for 2022. Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary's Master of Arts in Pastoral Care and Counseling (MAPCC) was ranked #1, receiving a score of 97.13 out of 100. The comprehensive research guide was based on an assessment of 155 accredited colleges and universities in the United States and each program was evaluated based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation, and post-graduate employment.

In recognition of the outstanding contributions made in helping congregations strengthen their ministries and outreach to younger adults, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary has received a renewal grant in the amount of $1.25 million from Lilly Endowment Inc.

The Lilly Endowment Inc. has awarded Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary a $489,750 renewal grant for its progressive and far-reaching program, “Leading Vibrant Congregations: A Collaboration of Faith and Finance.” The renewal grant, the second renewal grant Garrett-Evangelical has received for this program, is part of Lilly Endowment’s “National Initiative to Address Economic Challenges Facing Pastoral Leaders.”
