EVANSTON, Illinois, June 2018 – Dr. Rolf Nolasco will join the faculty of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary on July 1, 2018, as professor of pastoral theology. Nolasco is an experienced professor, trained in pastoral and counseling psychology, mindfulness and contemplative spirituality, and affective neuroscience. He is also a psychotherapist, published author, and has vast experience in cross cultural communications from living and working across the world within varying social and cultural backgrounds.

Indianapolis—The fifth annual Nancy A. Hardesty Memorial Scholarship, sponsored by EEWC‐Christian Feminism Today, has been awarded to Elyssa Salinas‐Lazarski, a doctoral student studying theology and ethics at Garrett‐Evangelical Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL.

The Styberg Preaching Institute at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary is pleased to announce the selection of PhD candidate, Rev. Jaewoong Jung, as the 2018-2019 Styberg Teaching Fellow. Sponsored by the Lilly Endowment Inc., this fellowship is awarded to a promising doctoral or post-doctorate candidate with a focus in homiletics or a cognate field. Jung will officially begin on July 1, 2018.
