Reginald Blount, Contributes to New CEB Student Bible Designed to Help Students Engage with the Text and Wrestle with Their Faith

Nashville, TN, August 2015 – Dr. Reginald Blount, assistant professor of formation, youth, and culture at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, served as contributor to the new CEB Student Bible (Common English Bible) that was published on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Blount wrote discussions for the books of Joel and James, which include questions, activities, and “Reading Differently” exercises for youth groups and small groups.

Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary President Lallene J. Rector was recently named the recipient of the Boston University School of Theology’s Distinguished Alumni/ae Award. Rector was nominated for the award by Garrett-Evangelical President Emeritus and Senior Scholar in Theology, Neal F. Fisher.
