A Service of Worship: Celebrating 25 Years of United Methodist Deacons:

Held in conjunction with the Inaugural Margaret Ann Crain and Jack L. Seymour Endowed Lecture Series and in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Order of Deacons in The United Methodist Church (UMC), this service of worship will feature deacons from across the UMC connection. The service will be held via Zoom and all are welcome to attend.
About Rev. Dr. Stephanie Moore Hand
Rev. Dr. Stephanie Moore Hand is an ordained Deacon who serves as a Vitality Strategist for the Western North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church. Hand is focused on revitalization, new places for new people, and dismanteling racism as an Anti Racism Consultant. She is also a national consultant in Change Management.
Hand has over twelve years of Fortune 500 executive business experience as General Manager of the Little Rock Airport, in Little Rock Arkansas and Operations Manager of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Charlotte NC.
Hand is a global speaker, consultant, and writer. She is a wife, mother of two, sister and friend, who loves experiencing different cultures and people. Hand is a passionate, high energy leader, who serves on boards and agencies in her community. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
Most importantly, Hand is grateful to be called a daughter of the Most High God, who seeks to be in the places and spaces where God is moving. Hand desires to work in tandem with the power of the Holy Spirit, so that all lives are transformed and communities thrive.
