John A. Knudsen Exhibit and Reception

Wednesday, September 14, 2016 - 1:00pm to 1:30pm
Event Location:
Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary

On Wednesday, September 14th, from 1-1:30 p.m. in Loder Hall, Michael Knudsen will share the inspiration behind his father's prolific body of work. John A. Knudsen, son of a Lutheran Pastor, is the artist of the prints, sketches, and paintings currently hanging in our hallways. An educator for over thirty years, he was very influential in the lives of many young, aspiring students including the development of the fine arts program at Harper College. Please come out and join us as we celebrate the legacy of this outstanding artist.

The John A. Knudsen Exhibit at Garrett-Evangelical Theoogical Seminary is sponsored by the Arts Committee, which explores the arts in relation to theological education. For more information, contact Tina Shelton at 847.866.3905 or
