SUMMARY:How LLMs Shape Biblical Studies - Another Idea (AI) Series
DESCRIPTION:Another Idea (AI) about Artificial Intelligence (AI) Series\nWe invite the Garrett community to join us in a series of events: to deepen the digital literacy of participants through a clear explanation of various AI models\, design\, and uses; to wrestle with theological and ethical insights related to the development\, adoption\, and use of the specific AI example; and\, to form a community of discerning students\, faculty and staff through dialogue about the most pressing digital concerns today. Every event will have a resource to pre-read or pre-watch to allow for shared engagement. The events are meant to be mostly discussion-based after we hear from a guest or professor on the topic. For those on campus\, a meal will be provided. \nOn September 28th\, we will be in conversation with Drs. Kenneth Ngwa and Jonas Kurlberg on the topic of “How LLMs Shape Biblical Studies.”
