SUMMARY:Incarnate Word: Transforming Our World through Preaching
DESCRIPTION:Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary is thrilled to be in partnership with the Association for Hispanic Theological Education! Together\, we’re bringing you the 2023 Justo and Catherine González Lecture Series\, “Incarnate Word: Preaching to Create New Realities” on Garrett’s campus\, October 13–14\, 2023. $30 per day\, or $50 for both. \nThis lecture series will be an inspiring event bringing together leaders of all levels in theological education\, from local churches to universities and educational organizations\, to open conversations. It will be a call to action—an invitation to congregate in search of a common purpose and a space where we can find inspiration and strength to carry the message of God’s love\, understanding\, and justice to every corner of our society. \nUPDATE! Justo and Catherine Gonzalez will be in attendance on Friday\, Oct. 13\, from 2–4 p.m. and will also be available for signing books. A conversation between President Javier Viera and Justo and Catherine Gonzalez along with the Garrett Community is set to take place in Room 207 in the Main Building on Friday\, Oct. 13\, from 2–2:45 p.m.\nCheck out all the details on the conference website. \n\nDurante este encuentro de dos días\, tendrás la oportunidad de escuchar a destacados conferencistas\, participar en talleres y paneles enriquecedores y conectarte con personas que\, al igual que tú\, buscan crear nuevas realidades a través de la predicación.
