Inside the Fall Issue of Aware you'll find the 2018-2019 Annual Report. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the 1,777 alums, friends, churches, trustees, corporations, estates, and foundations who supported Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in the 2018-19 fiscal year (July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019). The $8.5 million received has enabled Garrett-Evangelical to further its mission in preparing spiritual leaders for today's church, the academy, and our global community.

Effective August 1, 2019, Rev. Dr. Mai-Anh Le Tran was named vice president for academic affairs and academic dean. This is a historic appointment in the seminary’s 166-year history as she is the first woman of color to serve as academic dean. Inside this issue you'll hear directly from Dean Tran who is already making a big impact on our seminary community.

We pray that you will enjoy reading about the ministry of our seminary and we encourage you to get involved, pray for our students and faculty, and support our mission this fiscal year.
