For so many reasons, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary is "looking ahead with joy." In this season of great challenge we recognize our own opportunities to lead with hope and confidence in the coming days. Inside the April 2018 issue you'll hear President Lallene J. Rector say more about these opportunities.

You'll also learn more about the seminary's newest continuing education program called "Connectional Learning" and our two newest master of arts degrees in spiritual formation and direction and public ministry. Be sure not to miss the alum story on Mary Phillips too! Phillips was the first woman to graduate from Garrett Biblical Institute in 1879.

These stories, and so much more, serve as a reminder that we have much to rejoice in and much about which to be hopeful.
