Early Action Scholarships

Apply by December 15, 2020, to get your admission decision faster plus the opportunity to qualify for scholarships from 65% tuition to 100% tuition!
There are a lot of factors to weigh when deciding to follow God's call and pursue a theological education. A central concern for most is how to pay for one’s education. We'll help you get the information you need sooner through our new Early Action Scholarships program. With our Early Action Scholarships, you'll receive an admissions decision no later than January 15, 2021, and have the opportunity to qualify for new scholarships ranging from 65% to 100% of tuition.
To qualify, students must complete their application by December 15, 2020, and plan to enroll in Fall 2021 as a full-time student for one of our master's degree programs. Additional criteria for each scholarship is available in the sliders below. All students who apply by December 15, 2020, will receive an admission decision by January 15, 2021.
North Central Jurisdiction Scholars | 100% Tuition
North Central Jurisdiction Scholars
100% tuition scholarships will be awarded to one student from each conference within the North Central Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church.
Criteria includes: The student must be a certified candidate for ministry, applying as a full-time student for fall 2021, and have a minimum of a 3.3 GPA.
To apply in full, students must submit their online application, resume, statement of purpose, references, and transcripts from any institutions attended for credit.
All students who apply by December 15, 2020 will receive an admission decision by January 15, 2021.
Pan-Methodist Scholars | 100% Tuition
Pan-Methodist Scholars
100% tuition scholarships will be awarded to one student from each conference within the 4th episcopal district of the AME Church, the 3rd episcopal district of the CME Church and the Mid-West Episcopal Area of the AME Zion Church.
Criteria includes: The student must be a candidate for ministry, applying as a full-time student, and have a minimum of a 3.3 GPA.
To apply in full, students must submit their online application, resume, statement of purpose, references, and transcripts from any institutions attended for credit.
All students who apply by December 15, 2020 will receive an admission decision by January 15, 2021.
Fellows Scholars | Minimum 75% Tuition
Fellows Scholars
A minimum of a 75% tuition scholarship will be awarded to students eligible for one of our fellows programs (Deacons, Pan-Methodist, Hispanic-Latinx).
Criteria includes: The student must be eligible for either our Deacon Fellows, Pan-Methodist Fellows, or Hispanic-Latinx Fellows programs, applying as a full-time student, and have a minimum of a 3.1 GPA.
To apply in full, students must submit their online application, resume, statement of purpose, references, and transcripts from any institutions attended for credit.
All students who apply by December 15, 2020 will receive an admission decision by January 15, 2021.
Early Action Scholarships | Minimum 65% Tuition
Early Action Scholarships
A minimum of a 65% tuition scholarship will be awarded to eligible students who apply in full by December 15, 2020.
Criteria includes: Student must not be eligible for other new scholarships, must be applying as a full-time student, and must not be a conditional admit.
To apply in full, students must submit their online application, resume, statement of purpose, references, and transcripts from any institutions attended for credit.
All students who apply by December 15, 2020 will receive an admission decision by January 15, 2021.
