The Arts Committee of Garrett-Evangelical will be sponsoring a short exhibition and reception in honor of graduating artist, Steve Braudt. Steve Braudt is an artist and youth pastor, who's vision for life is to live so that all who see and hear him will know that he values the world and all creatures that live here. He hopes to fulfill this vision in his art, preaching, teaching, interaction with the society, and in the work that he does through The United Methodist Church.

All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Senior Chapel Featuring the Class of 2014

Senior Chapel will be held in the Chapel of the Unnamed Faithful located on the campus of Garrett-Evangelical. This special service begins at 7 p.m. and you are encouraged to arrive early as often the chapel reaches capacity and an overflow room is necessary. Held annually in conjunction with the seminary's Commencement celebration, Senior Chapel features members of the graduating class. Highlights often include a fusion of worship styles, languages, and generations in one service. Members of the class of 1964 from Evangelical Theological Seminary and Garrett Theological Seminary, who are celebrating their 50th Reunion, will participate by offering a blessing over the class of 2014. Chosen by her fellow classmates, this year's preacher is Pamela Keys. Keys will receive her Master of Divinity on Friday, May 16.

Welcome! We are so excited to welcome our new students to campus. We welcome you to the City of Evanston, the shores of Lake Michigan, and the campus of Northwestern University. You join a community that is over 160 years old and includes thousands of living alumni who are engaged in ministry across the country and throughout the world. For new students beginning this fall semester, Orientation will begin Tuesday evening, August 26 and go through Friday, August 29.  International Student Orientation will be Thursday, August 21. Below you will find the New Student Orientation schedule. The 2014 Academic Convocation at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary will be Wednesday, September 3rd at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Unnamed Faithful. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the beginning of the 2014-2015 academic year. Our keynote speaker will be Rev. Stephen Lewis, president of the Forum for Theological Exploration (FTE), and his address is titled, “Start Boldly, Lead Differently.” You can learn more about Rev. Lewis here.
