Ways to Give

Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary is blessed with over 4,500 alumni/ae spread across the globe, as well as friends, churches, foundations, and corporations who embrace our mission, pray for us, and support us financially. We invite you to consider a generous and pace-setting gift to help our seminary move into the future financially secure. Your gifts will help ensure our churches and communities will have truly exceptional Christian leaders. Now, more than ever, bold, well-educated leaders are needed to be a shining light in the world. We hope that you will join us in making that vision a reality.

There are a wide variety of ways you can support Garrett-Evangelical. The seminary welcomes outright and planned gifts of all kinds. Gifts are especially needed for the Annual Fund and unrestricted endowment. If you have questions or would like further information on ways to give contact David Heetland, vice president for development, by email or 847.866.3970.

Your annual gift each fiscal year shows your pride in Garrett-Evangelical, and it gives the next generation of religious leaders the same opportunity. Such gifts can be made by check, by credit card, or by electronic transfer from your bank to ours.

Monthly gifts to Garrett-Evangelical provide a steady stream of income and allow the donor to make smaller gifts that add up to a larger gift over the course of a year. Such gifts can be made by check, by credit card, or by electronic transfer from your bank to ours.

Garrett-Evangelical’s planned giving program encourages giving through bequests, gift annuities, trusts, pension plans, IRAs, and insurance policies.

Gifts other than cash – such as art and books are always welcomed. For more information contact Dr. Lucy Chung, director of the Styberg Library, by email or 847.866.3877.
