Dr. Richard J. Mouw to Deliver Convocation Address

EVANSTON, Illinois, August 2011 – Dr. Richard J. Mouw, president of Fuller Theological Seminary, will be the keynote speaker at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary’s convocation the opening day of the fall semester, September 6, 2011, at 11:15 a.m. in the Chapel of the Unnamed Faithful.

Jack R. Lundbom to Join Faculty as Distinguished Visiting Scholar

EVANSTON, Illinois, August 2011 - Dr. Jack R. Lundbom will be joining the faculty of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary as a Distinguished Visiting Scholar for the 2011-2012 academic year.

Course of Study Students Celebrate Commencement in a Bilingual Service

EVANSTON, Illinois, August 2011 – Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary celebrated yet again as students of the Course of Study School graduated at the end of July.  The graduation was a bilingual service, reflecting the diverse make-up of the graduating class.  Rev. Mary Ann Moman, director of the Course of Study School, and Rev. Marigene Chamberlain, academic director of Escuela del Curso de Estudio, led the bilingual service with the assistance of Dr. Lallene Rector, academic dean of Garrett-Evangelical.
