- Drop-off for children between the ages of 3 and up.

The United Library’s Children’s Story Time program this spring will run for four weeks from February 20th thru March 13th. This program was created as part of an ongoing Garrett community outreach & hospitality effort. Our goal is to provide an enriching opportunity to our community’s youngest members, introducing them to the library. By scheduling the story times to overlap with the Wednesday Faculty Lectures and right before community meal, we have hoped to also provide caregivers the opportunity to attend the lectures while their children read with us. Through weekly themes, we work on literacy and pre-literacy skills such as building vocabulary, narrative recognition and print motivation. We’re looking forward to our upcoming program and hope you will join us!
