Welcome to The United Library!
Books on the Move! Our main reference books at Garrett
and
the BY call numbers (Methodist collection) are being shifted to make more
room on the shelves and to create a more logical shelf sequence. Please
ask a staff member if you need assistance locating a resource. Thanks for
your patience during our shifting process!
E-Books:
Full text e-books in religion are now available through

The United Library was established in 1981 when the libraries of Seabury-Western Theological Seminary and Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary were merged. The two seminaries, one Episcopal and the other United Methodist, are located directly across the street from each other and each school houses a portion of the 320,000 volume collection. We invite all patrons and visitors to explore the book stacks on both campuses, to use the public study spaces at both library locations, and to delve into our special collections of rare items.
