Garrett-Evangelical will celebrate the graduation of its newest bold leaders on May 17, 2013. Morton Schapiro, President of Northwestern University, will deliver the Commencement Address. All are invited to attend this special event in the life of the seminary.
Rector, an extraordinary scholar and practitioner who shares a deep love for the church, was named President-Elect by the Board of Trustees on May 17. Rector will succeed Dr. Philip A. Amerson, who will retire on December 31 after nearly eight years as president.
