Travel from Union Station
Travel from Union Station/AmtrakĀ & Greyhound Bus Station
From Union Station / Amtrak
During peak hours (7:15-10:15 a.m. & 3:30- 6:10 p.m. on weekdays)
- Leave the station by the Jackson Boulevard doors.
- Walk east three blocks to Wells Street.
- Turn left and walk north half a block to the Quincy/Wells CTA stop.
- Take the northbound Purple Line train marked "Linden" ($2.25).
- Take Purple Line to the Foster stop (38 minutes).
- Take a right at the bottom of the stairs, and walk east two-and-a-half blocks on Foster Street. Cross Sheridan Road and turn left.
- Walk north on Sheridan two blocks to Garrett Place. Garrett-Evangelical is on the right.
During non-peak hours
- Leave the station by the Jackson Boulevard doors.
- Walk east seven blocks to the State CTA stop. (Or take the #126 Jackson bus east to State Street and get a subway transfer for a combined $2.25, exact fare required.)
- Take the Red Line to the Howard stop at the end of the line (42 minutes).
- Transfer to the Purple Line train marked "Linden".
- Take the Purple Line to the Foster stop (8 minutes).
- Take a right at the bottom of the stairs, and walk east two-and-a-half blocks on Foster Street. Cross Sheridan Road and turn left.
- Walk north on Sheridan two blocks to Garrett Place. Garrett-Evangelical is on the right.
From Greyhound Bus Station
- Exit the bus station and board the city bus (#60) eastbound on Jackson Street to the CTA State Street Station.
- Follow the CTA directions as described from Union Station above.
