Dr. Brad Braxton will be giving a lecture on Wednesday, February 16 at 4:00 p.m. in Room 205.  

His lecture will explore how violence creates ruptures on three levels: the personal, the communal, and the cosmic. Thus, attempts to address violence also must be multidimensional. Within a broad theology of reconciliation this lecture will examine how a ministry of reconciliation:
         • Heals the victims of violence
         • Calls the perpetrators of violence to justice
         • Unleashes transformed spiritual energy into the personal, communal, and      
            cosmic realms of our existence, thereby creating the conditions for shalom.

Following the lecture, Dr. Braxton will be preaching at chapel at 6:00 p.m.
