In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Church and the Black Experience at Garrett-Evangelical is sponsoring a panel discussion on Religion, Diversity, and Keys to Community Building. The event will be held at the historic Second Baptist Church of Evanston (1717 Benson Ave, Evanston, IL).
Panelists include an array of religious leaders from the Chicagoland area, including:
- Mr. Mohammed Saiduzzaman from the Dar-us-Sunnah Masjid and Community Center
- Rev. Dr. Mbu Walters from Edgewater Presbyterian Church
- Rev. Karen Mosby-Avery from Second Baptist Church, Evanston
- Dr. Peter Cha from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School
