Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary

Garrett-Evangelical is hosting an ecumenical memorial service in the seminary's Chapel of the Unnamed Faithful to remember the over 300,000 lives lost, to raise funds, and to respond to the current needs of the Haitian people one year after the devastating earthquake that happened on January 12, 2010. 

This ecumenical service will include prayer, music, and dance.  Authentic Haitian food will be provided by Chez Violette Restaurant located in Chicago, Illinois.  All are welcome to attand and all proceeds will go to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) who has been at the forefront in providing aid for the citizens of Haiti.
