Travel from Midway
Travel from Midway Airport via the 'L'
- Buy a transit card ($2.25) from the machine at the airport stop.
During peak hours (leaving Midway between 6:35-9:35 a.m. & 3:05-5:45 p.m. on weekdays):
- Take the Orange Line from the airport to the Clark/Lake stop (30 minutes).
- Transfer to the Purple Line train marked "Linden," and take it north to the Foster stop (33 minutes).
- Take a right at the bottom of the stairs, and walk east two-and-a-half blocks on Foster St. Cross Sheridan Road and turn left.
- Walk north on Sheridan two blocks to Garrett Place. Garrett-Evangelical is on the right.
During non-peak hours:
- Take the Orange Line to Roosevelt stop (23 minutes).
- Walk downstairs from the elevated line to the subway and take the northbound Red Line train marked "Howard".
- Take the Red Line to the Howard stop at the end of the line (43 minutes).
- Transfer to the Purple Line train marked "Linden".
- Take the Purple Line to the Foster stop (8 minutes).
- Take a right at the bottom of the stairs, and walk east two-and-a-half blocks on Foster Street. Cross Sheridan Road and turn left.
- Walk north on Sheridan two blocks to Garrett Place. Garrett-Evangelical is on the right.
