Spring Open House Campus Visits

Year after year, students at Garrett-Evangelical say that the campus visit made the difference in determining which seminary to attend.  This spring we are holding two Open Houses.  We invite you to Evanston to be a part of seminary life and to catch a glimpse of yourself as a Garrett-Evangelical student.

Open House Dates for Prospective Master Degree Students:
March 19th - Tuesday
April 20th - Saturday

We realize that these dates may not work for everyone. If you are unable to join us on the day of an Open House we encourage you to set up an individually planned day visit.

If you are interested in attending an Open House, we encourage you to register soon as space is limited.

Day Visit

If you are interested in one of our doctoral programs, or if you're not able to visit on one of our Open House dates, we'd be happy to personally schedule a date for you to come and visit. We recommend that you visit on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. If one of these days does not work for you, we invite you to plan your visit at a time most convenient for you. We'd be happy to work with you in accommodating your schedule and making your visit a fruitful and rewarding one.

Your particular interests will help determine the specific content of your campus visit. You may also view a sample Wednesday schedule and Thursday Schedule .
In general, a visit usually includes:

  • Worship
  • Class Visit
  • Lunch with Students
  • Discussions with Faculty
  • Tour of the Garrett & Northwestern's Campus and the Michigan Lakeshore
  • Meetings with Directors of Financial Aid, Field Ed, Housing and Admissions

Bring your questions about academic resources, the admissions process, financial aid, and anything else. We'll do our best to provide you with answers!

If you're coming from out of town, we'd be happy to provide housing for up to two nights for yourself and either your patner or a parent. We also offer detailed Directions and Maps for your convenience. If your budget would otherwise prevent you from visiting campus, some monies are available to help with travel expenses.

To schedule your visit please contact us at 1-800-SEMINARY (800-736-4627), or locally at 847-866-3945, or send us an e-mail to  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
